Jeep Compass Facelift Exterior Styling

Although the design updates aren’t as comprehensive as was expected, there’s still a lot going around here. First up, the headlamps are a lot sleeker than before with the lower portion being a little more angular than earlier. The headlamp inserts are new as well and we expect full-LED lights to be standard on most of the variants across the range. Although the grille remains the same in the size, the details are all-new with prominent honeycomb-like inserts.

The lower bumper is however completely new and features a new contrast black trim that runs end-to-end connecting the two fog lamps at either ends. The LED DRLs come integrated within the main headlamp cluster. At the back, the Jeep Compass facelift does not feature any significant changes. The lower bumper is almost the same as the outgoing model while the tail lamps have been mildly reprofiled with new inserts and blackened bits.

The Trailhawk variant is the more rugged and off-road oriented variant of the Compass, and just as its predecessor, it gets a unique design for the bumper. It also gets a blacked-out version of the Compass’ new honeycomb-like grille, dual-tone hood along with the trademark red hooks at the front and rear bumpers. There are even new red decals on the hood and of course, the Trailhawk badging on the front fender and tailgate. The Compass Trailhawk also gets a different design for the alloy wheels.
