Two approved schemes are available at Citroen, both called Citroen Select. One covers cars up to five years old with up to 50,000 miles; the other has reduced benefits for cars up to 10 years old with up to 100,000 miles.
All vehicles are checked for crash repairs, finance, clocking and theft. Older, higher-mileage used Citroens come with a six-month warranty and a “comprehensive inspection”, while newer cars get a 12-month warranty and a breakdown policy, as well as MoT cover. They go through a 122-point inspection and are also eligible for a 30-day or 1,000-mile exchange in the event of problems cropping up after purchase.
